Eastside Eats: From forgettable to recognizable
The owners of Eastside Eats had been running their Syracuse restaurant for four years with a logo they’d printed off the internet. It worked. But it wasn’t them. They wanted something warm, graphic, and a little retro without trying too hard.
We started with a discovery conversation about what made the place special — the regulars, the neighborhood, the fact that the owner’s grandmother’s recipes were on the menu. That conversation shaped everything. The final mark references mid-century diner signage but reads completely fresh.
Since the rebrand launched, they’ve had more social media engagement, more walk-ins who mention the signage, and one very satisfied owner.
